CustomGPTs

Check out the Custom GPTs I have created.

The Chararacternomicon

This is a tool to create or flesh out a complex character for a book or Role Playing Game. It’s a multi-step workflow.

For an NPC:

  1. Background & Story Context
  2. Character Details
  3. Character Refinement
  4. Finalize Character concept – Polish
  5. Optional – Create a character portrait

For a Story Character:

  1. Incorporate Pre-Gen summaries & background Elements
    • World Building Elements
    • Narrative Outlines
    • Other Character Profiles
  2. Establish Basic Background & Story Context
    • Role & Purpose
    • Kind of character (Main protagonist, supporting protagonist, Protagonist supporting crew, Primary Antagonist, Supporting Antagonist/Henchman, Antagonist Support Crew)
    • Story Genre (If not established in step 1)
    • Story Twists/Elements – To fit the narrative’s direction.
  3. Detailed Character Creation
  4. Refinement & Further Character Exploration
  5. Polish character
  6. Optional – Create a character portrait

The Interview Assistant

This is a tool to help you prep for an interview. It has three modes: Basic (default), Advanced, and QA.

Inputs needed:

  1. Your Resume (Text, PDF, Word)
  2. Job Posting (Text, PDF, Word)
  3. Company Name
  4. Optional: Company URL
  5. Optional: Job Posting URL

It asks behavior and situation questions based on your resume and the job posting.

The basic mode is like talking to an HR person. The advanced mode has 9 “personas” that ask questions. HR Manager (like basic), Boss/Industry Expert, Team Lead, Mentor, Problem Solver, Innovator, Observer, Strategist, Executive Observer. I would say the base mode is probably best for most.

Both Interview modes contain behavior and situation questions. I also have a general category It also puts an explanation of what the question is for when generated.

QA Mode is special. It generates 12 questions from the 3 categories and used the advanced personas. It will give you the question and give you a possible response based on your information using various frameworks (CARL/STAR for Behavioral questions, RCS for Situation, and what it perceives as the best framework for General).

A “Full List” interview generation will consist of 50 questions. They all take consideration for the job posting and resume. 10 – Behavioral. 10 situational. 10 – based on the resume in context of the job. 10 – Based on the Job posting in context of the resume. 5 general questions/insight questions, and finally 5 “trick” questions.

Pugmorph

Ever wonder what you would look like as a Pug, or other dog? This probably isn’t the correct tool. Do you want to see some disturbing facsimile of you combined with a breed of dog? THIS is the tool for you. I created this to test out. It disturbed me greatly. So, now I am sharing with all. This is more of a warning to others… Just because you CAN make a custom GPT, doesn’t mean you SHOULD.

Study Buddy

I teach an IT class, and this is the study companion for the course. We have two major exams and there are a huge number of terms for each one. I created this to try and make it easier on students. I extended the terms and definitions with examples and analogies to try and make it easier to understand. I started with a list of terms and definitions and then used ChatGPT to generate an example and an analogy for each one. I then added all of that into a spreadsheet, and then exported it as a Tab Delimited file and uploaded that into this custom GPT. A colleague is using something similar, and after looking at my original version, he updated his and let me get the code, which I then integrated into the latest model of this custom GPT.
